General Info
The Ghana Heritage & Nature Experience — Family Edition is a 5-day, 4-night tour designed with all ages in mind, blending education, fun, and nature into one unforgettable family getaway. Day one moves through Accra's most family-friendly landmarks — the interactive National Museum of Ghana, the sights and sounds of Makola Market, and a photo stop at Independence Square — before a comfortable transfer west to Cape Coast for the first of two nights at Lemon Beach Resort.
Day two brings Ghana's history to life for the whole family: the Kakum National Park canopy walkway, a thrill for kids and adults alike, followed by age-appropriate, guided visits to Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle. Day three is a comfortable crossing to the Volta Region, arriving at Wli Water Heights Hotel in Hohoe ahead of the following day's highlights.
Day four is the adventure day: an interactive visit to the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary to feed and observe the resident mona monkeys, followed by an easy, guided family hike to Wli Waterfalls with time to swim and cool off, before the drive back to Accra. Day five is a relaxed departure morning before a private transfer to your hotel or the airport. Private transport, a family-friendly guide, all site entries, four nights' accommodation, and meals as listed are managed by Venue Tours Group throughout.
