The Ghana Heritage & Nature Tour is a complete 7-day, 6-night journey across four regions, blending vibrant culture, rich history, and breathtaking natural landscapes. Day one covers Accra's highlights — Makola Market, Independence Square, and the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre — before a transfer west to Cape Coast for the first of two nights at Lemon Beach Resort. Day two traces Ghana's slave trade history and natural beauty in the Central Region: the Kakum National Park canopy walkway, Cape Coast Castle, and Elmina Castle.
Day three stops at the Assin Manso Slave River Site before heading inland to Kumasi, the seat of the Ashanti Kingdom, for an overnight at Ridge Condos. Day four explores Kumasi's royal history at Manhyia Palace, a traditional Ashanti dance performance, and a hands-on Adinkra cloth-making workshop in Ntonso, before a long, scenic crossing east to Hohoe in the Volta Region.
Days five and six are dedicated to the Volta Region's natural gems: a guided hike up Mount Afadjato, Ghana's tallest mountain, an interactive visit to the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, hikes to both Wli and Ote Waterfalls, a boat cruise on the Volta Lake, and a photo stop at Adomi Bridge, with an overnight at Royal Senchi in Akosombo. Day seven closes the trip with a visit to the Cedi Beads Factory and a guided safari at Shai Hills Resource Reserve on the drive back to Accra. Private transport, a live guide, all site entries, six nights' accommodation, and meals as listed are managed by Venue Tours Group throughout.
