Tours Pickup & No-Show Policy

Pickup times

Pickup times for day tours are set by the tour operator based on the destination and are shown on your booking confirmation and in your confirmation email. Many of our regional tours — including Cape Coast, Kumasi, and the Volta Region — begin between 4:30am and 5:30am. This is intentional: these routes involve several hours of driving, and an early start protects your full day at the destination rather than losing it to travel time.

Our 30-minute policy

If you are not ready at your confirmed pickup point and time, your driver will attempt to reach you by phone or WhatsApp using the contact details provided at booking. If we are unable to reach you, or you are not ready to depart, the driver may leave after 30 minutes from the scheduled pickup time.

This policy exists to protect the experience of your fellow travellers on group tours, and to respect the working hours of our tour operators and drivers.

What happens if you miss your pickup

• We will do everything reasonably possible to reach you before departure.
• If the tour departs without you, please contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp or email — we'll do what we can to help, but rejoining an in-progress tour cannot always be guaranteed.
• Missed pickups due to guest unavailability are treated differently from cancellations made in advance — refund eligibility may differ. See our general cancellation terms for details.

How to avoid a missed pickup

• Save your driver's contact details as soon as you receive your booking confirmation.
• Set an alarm — many pickups are before sunrise.
• Be at your confirmed pickup point 5-10 minutes early where possible.
• If you know in advance you'll need a different pickup point or time, contact us at least 24 hours ahead so we can try to accommodate it.
