Asenema Waterfall, located near Adukrom in Ghana's Eastern Region, is a hidden gem nestled in the Akuapem Hills. Its proximity to the main road and a short, marked trail make it an accessible and rewarding destination for nature enthusiasts. Asenema is only 15 minutes from Akropong and just a 5-minute walk from the main road along a marked trail, feeding a lively little stream nearby with its best flow in the rainy season.
The drive to Asenema is wonderfully scenic, with beautiful views across the rolling hills typical of the region. This tour pairs Asenema with a stop at Aburi Botanical Gardens, a 30-minute drive further into the hills, for a fuller day through the Akuapem Ridge.
